I'm a newbie here ad just posted about my older cat Boo Boo. Now I have a question about my 3 year old male cat Jethro.
I have a six year old grandson and whenever he's over my house Jethro gets soooo jealous.
When my grandson sits on my lap, Jethro looks like he is about to cry (sounds crazy...
Bad days = Him staying in his hiding spot. Not letting his girl friend (our siamese) sit next to him and groom him. He looks dazed and his eyes aren't shiny. Not catching socks and singing his song of victory.
Good days = Doing all the things I mentioned above.

I'm at the "let it be" stage right now. I'm just going to keep a close eye on him in the days to come.
He doesn't have any one illness. He has arthritis, sleeps a lot (which older cats do) so I would say his diagnosis is old age.
