He just took some wet kitten food that i had mushed up and added a tiny bit of warm water
He ate it off the spoon, should i alternate bottle feeding and kitten food now that he will take it?
And i completely understand that i can do all that is in my power and he might not make it i know and ive accepted it since the day he was born due to how tiny he was then
It is so hard because im doing everything i can and it just doesn't seem to be working, he isnt lethargic or in stress or pain though
His a happy little kitten
I will take him back to the vet today and see if they will run some tests to find out exactly what is the problem
The vet hasnt done that he has pretty much given me bottles and milk
Weighed him and given me advice he said that most vets cant do much for a kitten that has been rejected
He walks and runs around and plays with my fingers ive tried giving him food ive even put some on a spoon and tried putting it in his mouth ill get some photos of him
In feeding him every two hours and i couldn't put an exact ammount on what he is eating he has at least 3 mills every feed but other feeds will take 6-9 mills easily
The baby is still kicking but he wonr budge the weight up even with frequent feeding he is even taling 6-9 mills on some feeds
Although he isnt putting on weight his body is evening out more so he is looking better but ive tried everything he just wont get any bigger :/
Just to inform everyone how i got into this situation i have a cat who had kittens and my friend had a cat that she could no longer care for so i took her in so she wouldn't go to the pound, i later realised she was pregnant and gave birth to two very tiny kittens and wouldnt feed or clean them...
Ive tripple checked the scales and they are spot on, today he is on the 150grams mark though im keeping a diary of what he weighs and when and how much i feed him evey day so i can work with that
In the begining i thought mum would have been feeding him enough so i was only feeding him to...
