My 20 year old cat has saddle thrombus

Thank you Kommunity.  I don't want to put her down and she was terrified being in the vets office so we're going to keep her home as long as we can.  As long as she is comfortable, eating, drinking and going to the bathroom

My 20 year old cat has saddle thrombus

My cat, Coco, is a 20 year old female, spayed calico housecat (?).  Not exactly sure what breed she is.  She's been indoor/outdoor for years now and although not as spry as she used to be still enjoys going outside, visiting neighbors etc.  On October 30th, my daughter texted me saying she...

Need some advice about my 19 year old cat

Thanks Margd, I'm going to get her a low entry litter box today.  I'm hoping that might help her.  If not I will have to take her back to test for that.

Need some advice about my 19 year old cat

.  Hi Ruth, yes both were tested for and ruled out.  When we adopted her we were told she had some kind of high metabolism disorder.  I no longer have the paperwork though so I'm not sure what it was called.  She has always eaten a lot and has always been very slim.  I guess it keeps her going!

Need some advice about my 19 year old cat

Hi, I'm new here but have had cats my entire life. Currently I have a 19 year old female cat that I've had since she was 5 months who is obviously getting old.  She is spayed, declawed, indoor/outdoor cat.  Her typical day is:  wakes me up around 5:30am to eat.  She eats only wet food at this...
