    That is a possibility as it was done at the SPCA and she was pregnant at the time so the vet did say there is always a greater risk of infection and pyometrea in that case. She is on 10 days of clavamox and the vet said that should easily do the trick.

    We just took her to the vets, and they believe it is stump pyometrea! We have some antibiotics and the vet is confident it should clear up with the antibiotics! Happy we got it sorted out!! Let's hope this works!!
