Wow, what a gorgeous tree! Looks like an oak to me, to be honest...I know the leaf in your hand is from and oak tree, and I have seen some oaks around here that get all knotty like that, although not quite as much. Whatever it is, it's quite amazing!

So nice of you to take her in, and provide a safe home! To make the pictures show up, you need to use a photo hosting site - I think most people here use Photobucket. Than you post the links that are provided under each image - there are three different ones, it's the bottom one that works!

They are priceless! I love the paw and the feathers in the mouth - I have one who carries those feathers around in the middle of the night, yowling for me to come play with her!
