Oooooooooooooh... I needs me some of THAT!
I've let my hair grow out the past couple years and now finally have something to play with hairstyle-wise. I've been wanting a spiral perm, but didn't know if there was anything out there to handle my thin in some places/thick in other, stubborn...
The stitches are inside--but the lumps are much larger than what I would think for stitches... One of the lumps--the one on one side of the incision--is...well...for lack of a better size comparison, mouse sized. LOL. The other two I have noticed are about half that size. One under the incision...
My Mashie girl was spayed last Monday at the local Humane Society and came home the next morning. After the normal couple days of being quiet and not really wanting to eat to play, she bounced back wonderfully and is back to her old self--MINUS her previous "mean streak".
She doesn't seem to...
My mom and I hand-reared three little orphans many years ago. Their mother was killed by a pitbull and the dog's owner felt so horrible that she turned to us to help with the babies.
Even after Smokey--the male--was grown, he would cuddle up with my mom and nurse on a mole on her arm...
I'm planning to teach Mashie to use the toilet... I think she's plenty smart, I just hope she's willing. But as curious as she is about the potty...I think it's very possible.
Yes! Mashie has to help me with the laundry--inspecting each thing I put in the washer, seeing that I put it in right, that I add the proper amount of soap... LOL. Then I make sure she's in my arms before I close the lid and turn it on. Same for the dryer. And making the bed! She races in...
I agree with the others about the leaf... That's definitely a Pin Oak leaf...BUT the trunk/bark really really looks like an old Elm...
It's a toss up from what I can see...
Sorry I couldn't be much more help. But it IS a gorgeous old tree.
Edit: Okay...looking at it again, I'm going to...
Thanks all...
Too bad they can't do a kitty exorcism while she's under... Sometimes I swear she's possessed.
Maybe she'll mellow out after surgery. Who knows.
Mashie goes in to be spayed next Friday.
I'm relieved for her, and glad I was able to afford it this month.
I'm also a nervous wreck. It's been years and years since I've dealt with a newly spayed furbaby and though I know what to do, it's still scary thinking about her going through...
I'm planning to move to Cleveland, Ohio in October, and know I'll have to get Presh licensed...but I'm not sure about Mashie. I haven't been able to find out anything pertaining to cats. If anyone here DOES happen to know, I'd appreciate any info...
On a slightly off-topic, I've also...
*giggles*
Mashie will get in her box and scratch for up to 20 minutes. THEN go...THEN scratch another 20 minutes. I walked in one day to find that she had carefully piled all the litter in the box into one large mountain--with a poo on top. Like a sculpture.
Made me think of "Close...
I once had a cat who was named "Roadkill" by his previous owners. He was a GORGEOUS silver mackrel tabby... With VERY distinct tread-like stripes right down his spine and up his stomach.
After I adopted him, I went through several names for him, finally winding up with, of all things, Skeeter...
I guess what I meant was that she's all black except for maybe 20-30 white hairs I've found here and there on her body. None collected together enough to even be called a spot.
When she was a teeny baby, she had a distinct smoke undercoat...now it's slowly darkening to all black. She's my...
