    Feral cat brought inside

She's a really pretty cat :) do you plan to keep her inside? I took in a momma with babies that was feral and she's adjusting just fine. I know every cat is different, but she seens like she's starting to relax. She's getting chubby and is starting to slow down while she eats. I was even able to...

The momma will probably be upset, but she'll heal. Our momma cat is slowly starting to get better.

    Update

I know it's so hard :( I lost five of my kittens within a week. They were newborn. Nature is just out of our hands sometimes. Just know you did everything you could and it's not your fault.

    Advice and Support Needed!

Lucy was actually having her kittens when we got her. She was incredibly skinny and her kittens were scattered all over my neighbors yard. We thought she was done with labor, so we put her and her babies in a carrier and took them home. She had two more once she got home. She had seven, but she...

    Folded eared stray

She was actually awake and let me pet her head today! I was really shocked. I was even able to pick some fleas off of her :) I really need to fix her flea issue. I'm gonna look into that powder for her. They jump all over the babies and she's uncomfortable too

It's nice that you have them for her :) I know our kitty loved her cave, but each one has their own personality. I know our kitty didn't feel safe, and it sounds like Rosie does. Like I said, we got her while she was having her kittens. I'll be on the lookout for an update :)

    Update

I'm really sorry to hear about your kitten :( she knew what it was like to be loved though, even if it was for a short time. I think you're doing great given the situation. It's also great that they have their own little shelter to feel safe in.

Thank you :) so does your's. I think that it's great that she's able to get used to her new environment before she has her babies. Does she have a cave in there? Momma cats love caves. I'm glad the shed is coming along :) I'm sure she'll love it. It's like she has her own little house haha

Your momma cat looks like my momma cat! I hope that you get your shed window fixed. When the kittens come, I would love to see some pictures if the mom will allow it :)

    Folded eared stray

I'm just so not used to that. All the cats I had growing up would cuddle anywhere any time, greet me at the door, and were little purr monsters (still are). Side note: the kittens are starting that stuff and I love it. I do believe she was traumatized. I've read that cats have an extremely...

    Folded eared stray

@happybir I know! I know that my kitties, even the siblings that passed away were all gorgeous. I know of a Siamese around town, but that's the only non mutt cat that I have ever seen. It's like the kitten Bermuda Triangle. It's where all the weird kitties go lol. However, zinc is the first...

    Scottish fold... Stray??

I was thinking the same things about the dads. I guess I'll just have to wait and hope that he is healthy. His ear folds are kinda weird; they go back then forward. I just can't get over that a stray has folds lol. Oh well, I suppose he'll just be my folded ear cat. :) thank you

    Folded eared stray

Yeah, that makes sense @mservant it was a little bit of a joke; I could probably buy a cat tree for that haha. When you have something so little and fragile you tend to overthink things. They're great! They're the perfect little kittens. They either wrestle with each other or curl up and sleep...
