He was prescribed it by the vet because he thinks he might have IBD . He prescribed a mg tablet of Prednisolone and also gave me a prescription for Flagyl . I want to wean him off because I want to treat him using a holistic approach . I have not talked to my vet yet about weaning him off, so...

Thanks to everyone for the replies so far! I will definitely keep everyone updated on how the process goes along here throughout the week. We're going to switch him to the Rabbit or Lamb Nature's Variety Limited and hope it helps out. I hope he likes the flavor! He's pretty fond of any wet food...
