Thank's for the link -- I have reviewed this in depth  I bought a few cans of Wellness Core Chicken+Turkey+Chicken Liver, Wellness Turkey, and Wild Calling Rabbit to try. Idiopathic Hypercalcemia -- best commercial diet?

Hello my kitty community  I had a thread about my cat who was recently diagnosed with idiopathic hypercalcemia. All the results finally came back negative, so I'm pretty certain that was the issue. She is back to eating normally etc. The vet wanted her on dry Royal Canin gastrointestinal...

High calcium levels, didn't want to eat -- Idiopathic Hypercalcemia

Thank you so much for you're quick reply. My understanding was by doing the ultrasound today they were able to determine it was not Lymphoma. I wrote Leukemia in error in my OP. Sorry. The vet said if it was Lymphoma they would see an inflammation or something in the intestinal tract. Would you...

Hello, TheCatSite. I'm a frequent lurker and really need some advice regarding my 6 year old spayed cat. I apologize in advance for how long this is, I just want to make sure I add everything in.  On Wednesday (07/20) we woke up and noticed her eye had a clear discharge coming from it. I...

    Where to buy asthma inhalers.

I saw there was a lot of threads on asthma. I wanted to share my experience with a cat that not only has asthma but had a rare condition where his trachea was collapsed. We had adopted him from the shelter two days prior to his symptoms, and was already in love with him. The shelter recommended...

    General advice needed.

Just a quick update. I figured out what food she was previously being fed -- Purina. As soon as I put some in her bowl she gobbled it up . I'm now in the process of switching her fully to Tiki Cat. She's doing a lot better overall. Thanks everyone for all your help!

    Pet rx discount card

Sorry they are based out of Canada, but shipped from India. Buy one inhaler at your local pharmacy while you wait for them to arrive. It used to take about a week and a half to arrive.

Before my previous cat passed away he was diagnosed with asthma and needed Flovent (Fluticsone was the genric name). My vet recommended Blue Sky Drugs based out of India believe. I used to order 3 inhalers from them for $76.00. I would recommend that route if I was you. Good luck :vibes:

    General advice needed.

Quick update: Tonight I put a can of her food in the Ninja blender with about 2-3 tablespoons of water. Made it into a more liquid form and she ate 2/3 of the small can . I'm assuming eating about 1 to 1 1/2 of the small cans of cat food is not enough for a cat that weighs 12 lb's. Does...

Thank you guys for the quick replies. Just to clarify, she refuses to eat dry food at all. Daily she is just eating 1/2 a small can of the Tiki Cat 2X a day. I can give her more food and she just won't touch it. She does want to eat our food all the time. I have resorted to giving her a little...

Hello all. I'm a new member, and just recently (two weeks) adopted a fully black five year old female from the local shelter. I am what you call a nervous parent! My last cat we adopted only survived for 6 months due to asthma and a "rare" issue -- a collapsed trachea; hence my nervousness...
