Can cats have developmental problems? Is this cat abuse?

Oh, and the cat does this to the dog too. The dog growels and tries to defend herself too. I can't exactly get the dog to say "no!" And move him away when he gets aggressive, so this may be part of the problem.

Can cats have developmental problems? Is this cat abuse?

He's not confined to two rooms, the DOG is not allowed around the house at night, the cat can go anywhere he wants. I HAD to move him because the DOG is supposed be in the room at night with access to the outside. The cat is not an outdoor cat so I did NOT want him to be out there. We DO play...

Can cats have developmental problems? Is this cat abuse?

So sometimes my cat gets aggressive. I've posted on forums questions about this but the responses have yet to work. So today, my cat was sleeping locked in the room with the dog. I figured that this should not occur, because the cat may want to get out, have access to the house, etc. So I...

Is my cat being aggressive or playful?

So it's 10:40 at night here, and I, owner of a 8 month cat, Burrito, was rudely awakened. It started all nice, Burrito laid by my side, and was all snuggly. I kept moving around trying to get comfortable, which I suppose he didn't like! He bit my lip, really hard, and scratched my neck, I pried...

I've turned my kitten into a monster.

My kitten is horribly, horribly painful. He starts biting, and he won't stop. I heard if you scream when a kitten is biting, they'll stop, and he did for a while, but now he doesn't. Just 5 minutes ago, I was in my room actively trying to avoid him crying because I was so scared because it hurts...

    Kitten chewing on pencils- unsafe?

Could a kitten chewing on pencils hurt him? Like give him a splinter in his throat? He's graduated from chewing on wires and such to pencils, which I guess is better, but still not great. He's 14 weeks old.

    New kitten attacking dogs

Well, now it's gotten worse. I was a little worried about the kitten hurting the dogs, and the dogs hurting the cat, but now... well they got in a bit of a fight a couple of minutes ago. The cat was clawing at my dogs face, and my dog was understandably distressed, and the dog's starting to...

    New kitten attacking dogs

Well it seems like this is normal kitten behavior. I'm a little worried that he'll hurt my dogs, but if it's normal, I won't worry. I'm new to this parenting thing.

    New kitten attacking dogs

I got my cat, Burrito, four weeks ago, he's 12 weeks. At first he was scared of my dogs, but now he tries to play with them all the time, but of course him playing consists of chasing them around the house and biting them. It's like a game to him. They're older dogs, 12 and 11 years old. I've...
