I don't understand why the vet has not prescribed canned food for your cat.  Dry is the worst for a UTI cat.    My Kleo  has had recurring UTi's since I rescued her as a kitten.  Most vets will prescribe the expensive prescription diet but the ingredients are no better than any other cat food...

Hi, just joined but I've been following The Cat Site for a few years now.  Petsmart has raised the Great Choice Poultry Platter to 52 cents.  I still buy it as the ingredients are better than most.  I do switch around the food but wonder if it's necessary.
