We really want to start using Ökocat sometime soon. Because I won't be able to be behind him all the time, constantly checking the litterbox, and since my parents don't know how to clean it, we're waiting for winter break to switch Clover to it.
When switching your cat(s) to a new type of...
So I was wondering what I should be looking for when I shop for a breakaway collar for my cat, Clover. I heard you shouldn't buy them online because you should feel them yourself and see how easily they breakaway, but that doesn't really help much because I don't know how easily they should...
Yeah, Clover is a little bigger than most cats. I also think he's also medium haired - sometimes his cheeks will fluff out to make him look like a long haired.
He's a rescue from a coyote who had him in his mouth - they named him Clover because it means lucky, and I decided to keep his name :)
Does she have a microchip tag? It may be easier to find them if they have a tag saying their microchip number and company. Either way, if you know the microchip number, tell everybody - shelters, neighbors, vets - her number and company. I really hope you find her!
Sorry for taking so long to add the pictures; at first, I put them in the post and they didn't show. Then I used imgur to put them all in one link, and then imgur crashed. So, here's the link:
I've been told he's a mix between a Copper point and a Flame point Siamese, and that he's also a mix between Siamese and Maine Coon. I've been told by someone else that he's just a Flame point and nothing else, but he doesn't look orange enough to me.
The vet said he's probably three years...
That's a Scottish Fold!!
They're a little rare, you're really lucky!
Enjoy your little furball!
Here is a video from Cats101 from Animal Planet on Scottish Folds :)
I believe he's also a mix with the munchkin breed - it's just a breed that makes their legs shorter. It could just be that...
Luna should probably be a tabby cat, which is basically where they have lots of stripes like that. It's highly possible she's a domestic short-hair, though.
This is just out of curiosity, but if you have a lease that clearly says "no pets" and you buy a fish, would that be violating the lease in all, most, some, few, or no instances?
Thank you, I want to know if in the future I ever rent a home and I decide on getting a fish.
I would like to know which one is better for my cat. Currently we feed him dry food, but that should end soon; we're only doing this because with the rest of his expenses (we adopted him less than a month ago), wet food seems a little expensive. But once we start feeding him wet food, how should...
Clover wears a collar all the time, and he's not bothered by it one bit. When he's bothered by something, he'll start constantly meowing, and if you get close, he'll look at you in the eye with fright and then run away from you. It's not a very loud bell, so it's not that bad, and it doesn't...
I would give him a bath using an anti-flea cat shampoo or Dawn like Columbine said, and then using a flea comb on him right after getting him dry (if your cat is anything like mine, he will start licking himself right after the bath; eating fleas can give them tapeworms). The shampoo I use is...
@Kat0121 Well, it looks like we were ripped off at Dollar General (yesterday we bought five cans for treats). It's a 5.5 oz can for $0.98. I don't remember if it was 11 or 12, but I think he weighs 11 pounds (three years old). I have a petsco near me, but they also price things quite high, so I...
Interesting, because my cat seems to always drink more water than it eats food. Once we're done giving Clover his medication (last day is the 25th), he'll probably stop having the side effect of dehydration, so I think he would start to get hydrated just as he should be. But that doesn't mean...
