Thanks for your input.  My vet hadn't even heard of this.  But she did research it for me, and said that the only studies that showed positive results were done by the company that makes the treatment.  Hmmm! Not exactly unbiased, peer-reviewed research!   She did say it might be worth trying...

I am looking into it also, but I believe only vets are allowed to buy the drug for injection.  The FDA will not allow it to be sold directly to the public.
