Thanks everyone! My babies are Mario (black kitty) and Luigi (tiger kitty). They will be 12 weeks old tomorrow.
So far aside from the freeze dried food they have tried eggs and fish (cod). They liked the eggs and didn't care for the fish. After all the holiday craziness I'll try some chicken...
One of my two new kittens sucks his tail a lot. I tried offering him a bottle but he doesn't want it. Should I just not worry about it, or will he hurt his tail?

Hello Everyone,
I haven't been here in a couple of months, as losing my cats in September was so painful. A couple of weeks ago I adopted two kittens. Today they had their first vet visit. They are 11 weeks old. My vet is a holistic vet, and wants them on a raw diet. They've just gotten dry...
Her mother was tortie and her father was orange and white. I no longer have her though...she and her brother got very sick. Georgie died of FIP but Susie pulled through. She is up for adoption by someone who can afford all the meds she needs. I'm planning to get kittens in December when they are...
Thank you all so much. I knew the awesome cat loving folks here would understand. I know some people need a long time to recover after losing a beloved cat before opening their heart to another one. It does take me a long tim me to stop feeling so acutely sad, but I'm someone who finds another...
It's kind of funny with how hard I tried to get rid of giardia in my cats, and I ended up losing Georgie to something totally different - Feline Infectious Peritonitis. He was only a year and a half old and I am devastated. The vet made a clay imprint of his paw for me. His sister Susan is still...
I don't know of any connection between them. My cats don't have herpes - someone directed me to this thread because my vet recommended an immune booster. Mine have a chronic viral infection of some kind that causes coughing sneezing and runny eyes and nose, stomatitis, and Susan has colitis...
Thanks for the information. I am starting mine on lactoferrin this week. They've been on lycine for a long time but still have the URI symptoms and stomatitis. Hope this helps!
Sophie
Thank you! He is a 16 month old Maine Coon. I have his sister Susie too, but she was in the litter box at the time and I thought it improper to photograph her. :-)
Here she is:

I don't mean to butt in but I'm starting my cats on lactoferrin, and I was confused about the dosage reading these posts because many of them were also talking about lycine. Should cats around 10 pounds get 250mg lactoferrin once a day, or twice a day?
Thanks,
Sophie
