It all stopped after a couple of hours. I can feel what feels like a kitten in there but it's not moving atall :( she's still nursing her kittens and seems ok in herself. I'm watching her like a hawk in case she becomes unwell or signs of labour begin again. X
Fantastic, thankyou! I wormed willow right at the end of her pregnancy (a special one the vet gave me when willow had a check up, would that have helped protect the kittens against worms? Their tummies aren't permanently distended, only after feeding,so hopefully that's a good sign.
I must say...
Sorry,me again! I've read that kittens should put on about 10g a day and double their birthweight around 2weeks. Willow's babies are putting much more weight on than that,in fact one of them is now double his birth weight already and they are only 6 days old. The other 3 are not far behind. One...
Thankyou :)

I've had them on a heat pad,he was born an hour and 10 mins ago. He seems to search for food but won't open his mouth. Not crying, but is moving as energetically as the other two.
The kittens which have been rolling around and moving vigorously for days have suddenly gone very quiet. Willow is fine in herself,no signs of distress or illness. I'm very concerned though,is this normal? Thankyou for your help x
No lol! This is the first time I've ever been late with spaying or neutering in over 20 years and many beloved cats. She was booked in but the vet found she had a temperature on the day so it had to be postponed. My son then had to have open heart surgery, then I had surgery. It's been absolute...
Yes,I prepared a nesting box the day I found out. She loved it the first few days but now only goes in it to scrape about and rearrange it. I have read the links, thankyou very much For listing them :) I've been swotting up on everything I can get my hands on to try to be prepared as possible...
