I think a vet visit is in order to make sure everything is ok. Especially since it sounds like he only had very basic care when he was trapped and nothing since. Once he is given a clean bill of health then you can look into options. Changing food, trying probiotics etc... Also I know it's gross...
Hi there!
Before anyone panicks about my question please read everything first. So overall my question is does anyone know of a dog crate that is safe to keep a cat in when unsupervised? Safe as in can't get a leg stuck in it or get hurt by it. Here is why I am asking.
About a year ago I found...
Timmy is gorgeous! His adult shape is amazing, reminds me of a Maine coone! Just catching up on all your updates, wonderful news :) I'm glad everything has worked out so well. For sminky you could try a litter box with tall walls so that her but can't hang over when she poops. As for her...
Your doing amazing work! I'm glad it's all been able to work out for all of the kittens and mothers. Poor silky now stuck with another eight weeks of motherhood. Poor girl, she is going to deserve an amazing home after all this.
I would definitely find another vet!! A vet should understand and encourage the importance of professional cleanings to keep teeth healthy. Having it done while the tartar is mild means it will be an easy procedure and finished quickly. Waiting until it's a problem is not the way to go
Oh my goodness, mac and pippin are soooo adorable!!!! I wish I could scoop them up!
I'm glad everyone is managing and doing okay.
Thank you for all of your hard work!
I love the updates so keep them coming when you can!
They both sound really small, especially in comparison to the other kittens who are actually younger then them! It sounds like they need some special care and supplemental feeding. If the mother is still in the shelter they probably arent getting the attention they need. Is there Anyway to get...
Thank you! We are both happy with it. And the tag is beautiful and can be spotted from a mile away, so even tho the collars dark, the tag would be well spotted. Even though I have no intentions of letting him get out, it's all just a precaution.
For sure the Bells definitely aren't for everyone. Most important is if the cat is ok with them, and then it's the humans choice Wether they like it or not. I agree about not letting them wander. My boy is an indoor cat and he goes for walks on a harness. The collar and tag is a just in case...
Nice I'm glad it worked out for them!
To make the collars noisier you could always get a couple dollar store collars and take the Bells from them and attach them to their real ones.
Aw that's cute! I'm glad they are able to explore during they day. Maybe the others might try eating too if the food was on a plate? A flat easy access might be more encouraging then having to get their head in the bowl to get it. Also try heating it up in the microwave for a few seconds. The...
Sorry if this is the wrong spot to post. I didn't know where to put it. I was just wondering if anyone knows if there is similar website/community like this one but about dogs. I'm having some major behavioral/anxiety issues with my family dog and I could really use some advice. 90% of the...
My cat has had bells on collars before and it's never bothered him at all. I like being able to hear where he is in the house and what he's up to. At night I bring him in my room and close the door so I take the collar off so he can sleep peacefully.
