my cats are inside only, and I do not vaccinate them, since they are never exposed to anything. The risks outweigh the benefits imo. Also, did you know the felv vaccine is only 75% effective?

I'd suggest taking the kittens away one at a time during the coming week. Remove the one that eats well first, wait a couple of days and remove the next one. Keep working on getting the other two to eat from a dish. This will allow her milk to decrease slowly, avoiding the discomfort of sudden...

I've had cats that purred loudly and frequently, and cats that purred rarely or very quietly - I had one that I thought never purred, but if I put my ear next to his ribs I could hear it. It's just normal variation in cats. Like humans, some are just less demonstrative!

at 5 weeks they should be small enough to just pick up and put in a carrier for the trip to your house. They can be weaned and separated from the mama also to prevent her from moving them elsewhere. Baby food isn't really recommended. A good quality kitten wet food is better. try fancy feast or...
