    Suggestions for giving liquid meds?

The last time we gave him his meds, we did as Columbine suggested, and tried it while he was waking up from snoozing.  He's not fighting as hard, so maybe he's resigned himself to what's going on.  I appreciate the suggestions.  He's definitely seeming like he feels a bit better today.

    Suggestions for giving liquid meds?

No collar, but I suspect he'd fight that too.  I was able to get his pain meds in him without too much of a battle today, and a good portion of his antibiotics.   If it keeps up, I will try a collar.  Thank you!

Thank you for the info.  I feel so bad for my kitty boy, but I'm sure he'll make a great One-eyed Jack!

Anyone have a 1-eyed cat? Iris melanoma

My 8-year-old cat, Maui, needs to have his eye removed due to iris melanoma.  I'm curious if anyone else has gone through this, and can share your experiences.  I'd also like to hear from those with a 1-eyed cat if there are any specific issues we will have to deal with (can he still jump up on...

Why has my cats eye started changing colour (dark spots on iris)

I am going through a similar experience with my 8-year-old cat, Maui.  He was diagnosed by a specialist with iris melanoma, and I was told that the best course of action is to have his eye removed.  The option exists to not do anything until the cat becomes blind, but unfortunately  Melanoma can...
