I have a question for you or anyone else who is knowledgeable in this area On sites like http://www.catinfo.org/docs/SortableCatFoodChartCatinfo.org2-22-13.htm that have lists and list the % phosphorus, does that take in to account the phosphorus from the fish? Maybe that is a stupid...
Any type of wet food with added water is great! I would feed whatever your cat likes. I have read that no fish flavors and low phosphorus is best for cats with a history of crystals, but I don't know how true that is.
With wet food it is totally okay to mix between brands. My cat gets bored with his food really easily so I normally give him 3 different brands a day. I usually mix two different kinds together for one meal so that way every meal tastes different.
I have no advice, just commiseration haha my cat is the same way. He has a history of crystals so he can only have wet food. He doesn't like any rx wet foods, but they're super expensive anyway. He is also gluten intolerant which makes things harder (and makes it so he can't have dry rx food...

Is it dark brown? I have a flame point Balinese and he gets crusties around the corner of his eyes regularly (like every day or so). I just wipe them away. So it could be normal..I don't know about any health problems that cause crusty stuff so I can't help you there.
I don't think there is any grain-less prescription dry food for urinary tract health There is a wet food, Purina UR St/ox, that just has rice and oat fiber (not sure about other cats, but my cat seems to just have a problem with gluten, not all grains), but it is really expensive. My cat had...
This sounds a lot like my cat (He's 3, but I just adopted him a few months ago). He would always have loose stool and it was extremely smelly. I live in a 600 sq ft apartment so I feel your pain! Not sure about your cat, but my cat's stool was also not a normal brown, it was lighter and...
