Cat feeding problems one eating dog food, one cat too fat

All animals are said to be healthy per vets aside from the weights I've reported, The Dum Dum litter was an entire litter rescued that was abandoned by the mother, the cats are all largish and another has become fat (family and friends all took one) It has to be somewhat genetic too. I was...

Cat feeding problems one eating dog food, one cat too fat

I have three cats. I've got a bit of a situation. One cat (my brown one I posted pics on here) Dum-Dum is one large cat and she's bordering on obese. My two other cats are smallish one nearly underweight (I posted pics in another post of them) Kitt (aka Malion) and Willow. I have a senior...

    How uncommon are brown cats?

Dum Dum is easily distinguished as a deep brown even in a dimly lit room. Her coat is completely uniform with no markings or patches. I tried taking several photos, but due to the shininess of her coat you can't really tell how uniform it is and when you use a flash you get reflections and she...

    How uncommon are brown cats?

My one cat Dum Dum, domestic long hair, which we initially though was black as a kitten is actually dark chocolate brown, almost appearing golden in a camera flash or bright sun. Is this uncommon? You don't seem to see many solid brown cats.

Trained my cat to react to a clicking sound using a laser pointer in only 3 days!

My one cat cat DumDum is normally pretty dumb, hence the name. Three days ago I was playing with her with a laser pointer which she loves to play with. I started making a weird rapid clicking sound with my mouth every time she played (she'll want to play with the laser three or four times a...

Breed and color type of my little baby?

I'm not really sure what you'd call it so I attached a pic that you can hopefully make it out from. She doesn't open her eyes super wide due to her injury as a kitten, so getting a good color representation is hard (plus the fact she's easily frightened).

Breed and color type of my little baby?

I should note I'm also in a rural area that is within fairly close driving distance of a major city, so you get all sorts of types of cats and dogs surrendered and abandoned unfortunately. My dad once found what was likely a purebred Maine Coon when hunting in the early 1990s. Absolutely sweet...

Breed and color type of my little baby?

I'm in the northeast U.S. The origins of any of them are kind of unknown. DumDum was an abandoned kitten found under a tree. Malion and Willow were surrendered kittens to an animal shelter. I've got more pics of DumDum, Willow is much harder to get pics of because she's easily startled. She was...

Breed and color type of my little baby?

I put a pic of Malion and DumDum on a chair together. Malion is roughly 10lbs, DumDum is closer to 20 and you can see the size difference. I assume 20 is on the high side for a female. She's also very strong and muscular. If she miscalculated a jump she can pull her entire weight with her front...
