Sorry. It's the older cat who is doing the peeing and pooping outside the litter box. We never separated them we were advised not too. She had seen the kitten and just hissed and growled and they did have a bit of swipe with each other x

I would call your vet. It is most likely that she found the experience traumatic and obviously doesn't like the medicine. I would ask your vet ASAP x
