I would not use any cleaner that leaves a residue, especially Siffer.  If you use a cleaner, then you must use a plain water rinse.  The residue on the floor will redissolve onto your moist cat's paws, and they will lick it off.  I have been using the Hoover Hardwood Floor Cleaner machine...
