In prior posts I mentioned adding a 5 month old kitten to our household of a 17 yr old girl cat and 19 yr old boy cat 2 months ago. Besides basic hissing, etc., we have not encountered severe behavior issues until this morning (of course the situation isn't great, but has been getting better)...

I realize this is an older post, but how did everything work out? We adopted a kitten several weeks ago and our 19 year old cat is not doing well. He spent the last 3 days at our vet's office and I brought him home last night. He hasn't had my water or food...i'm a loss of what to do.
