I'm not sure if she hasn't been spayed already--I don't see a scar but on my cat I have now, I can't see or feel hers either. Plus, I've had a cat pregnant in the past so I'm thinking she's possibly already spayed. :)
Hi folks!
I didn't see this situation in some of the cat introduction threads so I wanted to pose it here and ask for advice. :)
I currently have two cats, Tom and Chloe. Tom is 4, a maine coon and tends to be reserved but he gets along with most cats he's been around. Chloe is 2, a little...
Oh Jules, I am so very sorry! I would be devastated too! My heart just hurts for you!
I can honestly say that I've never had a flea problem on my cats but I follow these threads just in case, but I think if they ever do, I'll follow your advice and never use that product!!
Big hugs!!!
I agree, sometimes it's very hard to take your pet to the vet when some of them charge more than if you were bringing a kid to the pediatrician! While I keep a credit card free of charges and to be used only in an emergency (which vet care would be, for me), I googled this issue and found this...
I honestly have never heard of giving coconut oil to my pets, dogs or cats, so I googled "Is coconut oil bad for cats?" I got a lot of hits, for both the benefits and dangers of coconut oil. I tend to trust best the vet links, where the majority state that in moderation, coconut oil won't hurt...
I just wanted to post that a good website for pet needs, including meds, is petshed.com. They are less expensive than 1-800 petmeds and you don't have to go through the rigamarole of mailing a prescription. I've scanned mine and sent them along with my online order and they are fine with that...
LOL, I've never heard of this but it sure gave me a chuckle! My Tommy is a Maine Coon and has long hair and I have to keep it trimmed on his backside or yeah, he'll get stuff and litter stuck in his hair--don't blame him for not wanting to lick that off! LOL!!
I've actually taken him into the...
Whew, good because my house is for sale right now and I'd hate for it to be smelling from my cat spraying--it's hard enough to keep the kitty litter clean and "smell-free" with my two cats already!! LOL!!! Thanks for the reassurance!! :)
My cat Tom just recently started doing this--he wiggles his tail like he's spraying but nothing comes out (Thank God!)--He's been neutered but I have to wonder what is causing him to start this tail wiggling behavior??
Oh my goodness, continued prayers for your and your little kitty! My heart just breaks for you! But I think you are wonderful for continuing to care as best as you can for Kitten! Big hugs and keep us updated!!!
My goodness, Lisyna, your poor little baby! How did Kitten do on his surgery?? You've got prayers for him in Texas, USA!
By the way, he looks like a little Apollo! :)
Big hugs! Let us know how everything turned out!
Well, when my two cats were little, they pooped A LOT. Now that they are 1 and 3, respectively, they usually only poop once, maybe twice, a day. I actually scoop more pee clumps than poo out of their litter!!
I do think some of their potty habits can be attributed to their age, besides what...
I'm so sorry for the loss of your kitty. No words are really adequate that will make you feel better but know she's in a better place and they never truly leave when they are in your heart. Big hugs from me and my two cats.
Well, we had a friend sell us their leather couch and you guessed it, my kitty cats are both are clawing it! I bought that stuff that has tree tea oil in it and sprayed around the couch and around (not at them) when I catch them but yep, it already has claw marks on it and I'm like, durn it! My...
