I rent in the suburbs of Long Island, my landlord (lives on site) has fed 2/3 cats for years now, one just had a litter of kittens a few months back and most (4 of 5/6 I believe) have survived illness, racoons, etc... They were always afraid of my boyfriend and I who rent the ground level part...
