    Hyperactive cat?

No, that is Bandit, the one we lost in April. He was "Himalayan" and very laid back. Louie is "Maine coon/ forest cat". Our other cat is 11yo and has arthritis. She's way past the playing stage

    Hyperactive cat?

About 2 mo ago we adopted a 6yo after losing our 11yo. Had 2 odor the most laid back...couch potato cats. New 6yo, Louie, seems to be hyperactive. We play w him a couple times a day. He follows me around almost constantly, tries to get out or into any open door or cupboard, very vocal and isn't...

Advice on good dry food at reasonable price

And I'm changing our dry from wellness core to chicken soup....been reading how grain free isn't good for male cats. Our previous male was ok on it, but new one isn't big on the core dried. Good luck

    Bonded pair

Thanks, we are looking at a male from a rescue group that gets along w other cats and is 6 yo. Smokey is very mellow, 11yo and very inactive due to arthritis. We're going to do the separation thing until they're used to each other. I know cats sleep a lot, but I just got her up to groom...

    Bonded pair

Did you think about getting another cat? We are thinking. Most certainly not as a replacement for Bandit, but so Smokey would have a cuddle mate and maybe more active than she is.

    Congestive Heart Failure

It has been suggested Bandits "sister" (don't know for sure) have an echo to see if she has CHF. She also has arthritis. From what I read about CHF some cats progress and some it doesn't affect. Anyone have experience in this?

    Bonded pair

Bandit had a heart attack on Tuesday. Smokey his bonded mate is depressed. I'm trying to spend as much time as possible w her, but she gets up at 4:30 crying for Bandit. Besides my missing Bandit beyond words, I don't know what else to do w Smokey. She is 11 yo, we adopted them 9 yrs ago and...

    RIP Bandit

My Bandit went to the vet to have his teeth cleaned this am. Vet thought his breathing was strange and wanted to do chest X-ray first. Bandit went into cardiac arrest and was gone by the time we got back to the vet. He seemed fine this am. Just so shocking, tomorrow would have been his 11 birthday.

Cami just will not eat any wet food

add a little tuna juice to the wet, to get them into it.  or nuke it for about 5 seconds.
