Feral cat escaped in our garage...

She's trapped again successfully! She didn't want to move out from under the car, so I put some tuna water in a dish and slid it under (instead of just water) to whet her appetite, and put solid tuna in the trap. Feral cat escaped in our garage...

I don't have access to a drop trap, maybe I can find a net of some kind... but she's still hiding under my car. She definitely won't come out while I'm in the garage. No luck so far, going to give it another day and cross my fingers.

how to keep ants out of food at colony site?

Similar to the pan of water idea, you can also sprinkle diatomaceous earth on an outer tray and place the food container on top of that. Not great in windy locations but depends on where and how high the pan is.

She's about as feral as they come, moving around in the garage illicits nothing but hisses/spits and frantic jumping up the...

    New to TNR!

Almost a month ago I started volunteering with a local adoption organization, and just a week after that I saw a 4 week old kitten and mother in my driveway... they started it all, and I hope to get them yet. This has become the task I look forward to the most, caring for feral cats. I'm only...
