We managed to get him to the vet yesterday.  They did blood work and urinalysis...all good!  Mitch is eating and drinking almost back to normal again, and he's had one BM since yesterday and has urinated at least once.  The ONLY thing that's still slightly concerning is that he keeps hiding...
