    I am definitely watching her breathe, For a kitten I've read that it's normal for it to go up to around 50 if its active, but considering its twice as much I'm concerned. I'm trying to get her heart rate but it's difficult. Thank you for the advice, I'll get her checked up just incase.

    That sounds absolutely terrible, considering he pounced and scratched you. I had the exact same problem. The cat was called ricky and was a male, attacked both my next door neighbors cats and attacked my eldest female a few times. You should ask the owner of that cat if he's neutered or not...
