    My Kitten is Looking Skinny

Hi everyone! Looking for some advice on my 5 1/2 month old kitten. He's been recently dewormed and all that, so it's definitely not worms.  I'm currently giving him free access to dry food which is a mix of Royal Canin Baby Cat and Hills Kitten. He goes through about 3/4 of a cat bowl a day...

    Biting / Scratching

Well, my vet refuses point blank to neuter him right now. For whatever reason, she believes that it affects their long term growth and health to do it so early. Since have paid a year in advance for this care plan, I really don't want to be going to another vet, especially as there is no...

    Biting / Scratching

Sirius is currently 15 1/2 weeks old. The vet has often commented that he's very rambunctious, but has not made any worthwhile suggestions on his behaviour. I give him meat chew sticks to give him something to gnaw for the teething. The behaviour doesn't seem to be linked to routine. If this...

    Biting / Scratching

Well, I wish I could report that this was resolved ... but a month on, he still seems to have learned nothing :( I am truly at my wits end with him. My legs are literally covered in scratch marks - it's gotten to the point where I am embarrassed to go to my gym pool because I suspect everyone...

    Biting / Scratching

I started a new practice yesterday (carrying on through today) of putting him outside the living room when I'm actively working on my thesis. This amounts to about three hour intervals, dispersed with a twenty minute or so break where I go outside, make myself some coffee, play with him, check...

    Anxiety with New People

No, he's not still limping. He was walking totally normally by the time I woke up the next morning :)

    Biting / Scratching

I've now had my kitten just over three weeks and his biting is terrible. It does not matter how many times I tell him "no" firmly - he just gets worse, and worse. I've tried the spray bottle approach now after two straight weeks of trying the patiently saying "no" and walking away approach and...

    Anxiety with New People

Thanks guys it is good advice. He is even a bit afraid of people he's already met until he susses it out that it is indeed them. He does seem to be getting a little better now though, as he approaches 12 weeks. The reactions aren't quite as extreme! I've been allowing him to stay in the kitchen...

    Limping :(

Sirius has started limping this evening. I never saw him get injured or fall from anything, but he seems to be dragging one hind foot a bit. I've tried feeling both limbs and he flinches a bit when I touch his back right leg, but doesn't cry out or scramble frantically. Would you take him to the...

    Sirius at 9 weeks !

Thanks guys! He is lovely if a little bit of a small demon! He's currently trying to ambush my flatmate's feet no matter where he tries to tuck them away.

    Anxiety with New People

Hi guys,  Looking for a little advice about my kitten's extreme anxiety around new people. Whenever someone comes in through the front door, he runs as fast as he can to the sofa and tries to hide. Then for the next hour whenever anyone comes anywhere near him, his back goes up and he starts...

    Hello!

The seller advertised the litter as 8 weeks and 4 days, but when I took him to the vet, she said there was no way he was over 7 weeks :(  Here is a picture of him the day after I got him with my boyfriend! He already looks huge by comparison!
