    Tara's were born between about 11:15 and 2:30 today. We live in Michigan.

    You can put her and the kittens in a large dog crate with her food/water and litter box.

    My Tara just went to the vet today due to a funny discharge but she is okay. They took an x-Ray and see 5-6 babies! The vet says she should have them by Monday.

    It would be best if you could bring her in now so she becomes comfortable. Do you have a room you can put her in where she will be by herself?

    My only tips would be to make sure she has a dark warm place that she feels safe in and try to set that up now if you haven't already but my Tiki tried having her babies under my bed so there is no guarantee. It is handy to keep clean old linens close by, dental floss, and then just watch her if...

    That is what so many people say but I always tell myself that these are not my animals and I already have 3 cats and 3 dogs of my own so we are full on personal animals here. To join a rescue all personal pets must be fixed and current on vaccines.

    What makes you believe there is another kitten? I have helped deliver many litters, from 3 kittens to 8 kittens and almost always thought there was another but realized that the cat is very swollen after birth and some of the organs may even feel like another kitten.

    Here you submit a volunteer application, have training and a home visit. You should ask your local rescues and/or shelters. I am sure they would appreciate the help.
