My cat won't stop begging, to the point where it's dangerous.

I'm gonna have to revisit the spray bottle, even though it's been ineffective before, hopefully since it's been awhile it might work this time.

My cat won't stop begging, to the point where it's dangerous.

I did ask about it specifically when he had a blood work up, everything checks out. And he jumps up when we aren't standing there, we'll hear him meow and then I catch him on the counter scavenging. That usually happens after we've been in the kitchen, like he's going back looking for scraps. I...

help! my cat has become violent!

I would ask the vet about hormones or even Prozac. It's very sad when a situation like this happens. And I completely understand not being able to afford certain things.

What's the best approach to moving states with cats?

Definitely separate them... and tranquilizer is wonderful. I used that with my cat when I moved from MI to NC. He still meowed on occasion, but was fairly out of it for the majority of the drive.

help! my cat has become violent!

I think a trip to the vet is in order! My cat had to be put on hormones when he started exhibiting extreme aggression... after a couple weeks he finally mellowed out and became sweet again.

    Say hi to Shadow

I adopted my Shadow when he was about four months old. I went to the shelter and saw this scrawny, timid little boy. When I picked him up he wrapped his arms around my neck and I fell in love. Once he was home and used to me, he became quite a character. From climbing onto my lap wherever I'm...

My cat won't stop begging, to the point where it's dangerous.

He has food readily available all day. I've tried different wet foods and treats, he just stares at it and looks at me like, "mom, what is this nonsense?" And then he walks away. He definitely enjoys his kibble though!

My cat won't stop begging, to the point where it's dangerous.

I adopted him when he was about 4 months old, he's 7 years old now and this behavior only started in the last few months... vet says that he's fine though! Maybe he is just going through his "teenage years"?? 95% off the time he acts cute and does stuff like this though... .... makes up for his...

We've tried the spray bottle, he swats at it!! Little man has the attitude of a teenage boy.

My cat won't stop begging, to the point where it's dangerous.

He turns his nose up to wet food, treats etc. I've tried multiple kinds. The vet said his dry food is plenty, he's a healthy weight, and he just had a check up and he's perfectly ok.

He also hates cat treats! And he had a kitty tree but he never used it, in the 6 years we had it all he did was stare at it. He slept NEXT to it, silly boy.

My cat won't stop begging, to the point where it's dangerous.

He is fed 1 cup of dry food per day, which is what his vet recommended for his size. He eats throughout the day, nibbling here and there. And to clarify, he jumps on the counter while we're standing right there. He's that aggressive. I've pushed him off the counter and he's literally turned...
