    Depth perception with cats.

Someone was telling me today that cats have NO depth perception. We were talking about letting our cats on the balcony with us, supervised of course. Our balcony is roughly 13 by 8 feet....the size of small bedroom, and we let them out there with us, they usually don't go up on the...

    Cat Foods-Which Is Best?

Actually, I did alot of research on the packs of wet food that are showing up everywhere and the meow mix brand has ALOT of protein. Here is the meow mix hook line and sinker flavor. Tuna, fish broth, sardine, tuna liver, red snapper, ocean fish, then of course it goes into the funky stuff...

    Skinny cats.....question.

Also, ive tried some of the higher end meaty pouch foods and they don't like them, but they go crazy for the meow mix hook line and sinker flavor. Should I switch this just because its a meow mix product? The ingredients actually looked better than some of the higher brands. Here are the top...

    Skinny cats.....question.

I always thought it wasn't that bad of a food since it was at least a Purina brand. Ill start to switch over for sure. Is there any specific brand you suggest for 2 indoor kitties. 1 is 2 years old, and Lucy is 7.

    Skinny cats.....question.

I was just reading another thread here about cat weight and I just weighed Lucy and she weighs 8 pounds. So maybe im overreacting. None of her bones are visible...but I can feel them. She is a strictly indoor cat. We feed her meow mix, we have TRIED feeding her better food and she refuses. But...

    Skinny cats.....question.

My cat Lucy has always been small, but lately she just seems smaller than ever. Her bones are pretty pronounced, I can feel her ribs with ease, same with her back bone and shoulder blades. Nothing else seems wrong though. She is about 7 years old, she eats and drinks normally. She is not an...

    Question about excessive licking

That stuff looks very interesting. I mean, we arent really trying to make her stop....she looks like she enjoys licking and she doesnt seem nervous or jittery or anything like that....she is a very social cat, seems very well adjusted, but just licks. I think ill try to monitor the licking...

    Question about excessive licking

It looks like pica is just eating non food items......I suppose it could relate to licking....but she never eats anything weird. She always looks very calm when she does it.....like she will be on our lap and just start licking our shirt....and kneading.....so I wonder if its just a soothing...

    Hi everyone, new here!

I can't believe I left my babies out of the thread! We have two kitties. Lucy is our 6 year old, she looks like a california spangled cat, but she is just a tortie. She has a licking problem too, I asked about that in the behavior section, but didnt get any replies yet. Pixie is our 1 year old...

    Question about excessive licking

My cat lucy is a licker. She licks everything.....except our skin, she will lick our clothes, but not our skin. Anyway, she licks everything....pillows, the furniture, the walls, plants, literally everything. Someone told me I should get her a salt lick thing, I guess they are made for rodents...
