Thx to all posters. In the end it's probably not fleas as we live on top floor (5th) and cat never goes out. It is something like acne blackheads, from what I've read yesterday online. Pete's fur seems a lot better today since I gave him a big wash yesterday. But he still has some dots but...

2. I mean cats don't generally want to drink poisons and never want chocolate or sweets even if offered them occasionally just to test the theory.... they just want their food and snacks... feral cats like birds and rodents ... they don't eat...
So many things are dangerous but yes bags and blinds hage been the only worry... until my beefy boy cat started going on the clothes dryer stand and two or three times got trapped in the clothes and really he had to be rescued as he was panicking and the whole thing collalsed etc.... really...

As he can't lick himself hardly at all as he's a big beefy I doubt chemicsls gonna be a problem just for cleaning his bum and tail area. ... i guess lot of chemicals in cat shampoo ??.... these wipes I used so far are the Page (Andrex) unscented ph neutral dermatoloigically...
I have never seen cat wipes on sale here and don't think human bum wipes are any different - if not better than baby wipes - and I don't think kitty is gonna be sick etc.
