I definetly would agree with the "find a place too small for the older cat" method. I think that this might work the best in you situation. In fact, I wish I had thought of that when we introduced a new kitten about a year ago.

Any time a vet who dismisses blood in urine with a male cat, you need to find a new vet. Male cats get UTI's very easily. In fact, my baby "Red" gets them often, so we had to change his food and make sure he has plenty of fresh water!

Get her to a vet as soon as you can. Once you find out what is going on with her it may give you some insight as to whether to be worried about your other baby. Good Luck and keep us posted.

Have you checked with your vet? How long has this been going on? I would definetly take him to the vet to make sure that something more serious is not going on with your baby.

I am so glad for you that he is doing better! I would still get him checked by the vet just in case it was something other that a reaction to the neosporin.

Definetly get a second opinion. If you feel this vet always jumps to a quick decision maube you should look to changing vets. Sometimes problems with cats can not be diagnosed with a "quick decision"

My baby had that happen one time and when we tried to get it out he screamed. Our neighbors came runnign over think that maybe we had a little girl that had been seriously injured in our house! Fortunately we have not had this problem again. Talk about a boy screaming like a little girl!!
