Sneezing how much is too much?

Hey there! My youngest cat Sophie sneezes ALL the time. After SEVERAL trips to the vet and lots of money, they diagnosed her with allergies. So if the pollen count is high, she sneezes....a lot! They told us to give her childrens benadryl (small amount though!) when she gets to bad! Hope your...

    Clutzy Cat

How old is your kitty? My youngest cat Sophie was a clutz when she was younger. She eventually grew out of it. We had many a laugh when she would jump and miss the window all together!!! Has this just started or has he always been this way? If this is a recent thing I would definitly take him...

    Room Temperature

Not my cats! My two will sprawl out on their backs in front of the air conditioning vent if the house gets over about 75degrees F!! It is just like that dog on the Sierra Mist commercial! It is so funny to watch them!! They point thier butts at the vent so that the air flows up their belly to...

    My poor kitty... limping...

I would definetly keep an eye on him and call the vet in the morning if nothing changes. Most cats do not show that they are in pain unless they are REALLY in a lot of pain. The fact that he is in enough pain to affect his behavior and his activity level is enough to be very concerned with...

    Scratched Head Woes

My Youngest Cat Sophie and my Oldest Red have been playing very rough with each other. Sophie has gotten a pretty good abrasion on her head form one of Red's stealthy attacks. It is not infected and is only a surface abrasion. Do any of you guys recommend an ointment of some sort or anything to...

    Thinking of buying cat fountain....

I bought the Drinkwell for my two babies and they love it!! It took them approx. 3hrs to use it. Now if for some reason it is "out of service" I have NO peace until it is placed back in operating condition!! HA HA!! Prior to this, I was changing their water bowl up to 15times a day because if...

    Cat popping when he walks

I am scheduling for the vet to come to the house next week. Unfortunately we can not take him in the car b/c he gets stressed out WAY to much and it is very bad for him. Our current vet gave us the name of the "house visit" vet for him and said it was better for him b/c of the stress. (Good...

Please help--how to keep adult cat from kitten's food?

I definetly would agree with the "find a place too small for the older cat" method. I think that this might work the best in you situation. In fact, I wish I had thought of that when we introduced a new kitten about a year ago.

    Problems with new kitty

Has he been eating and drinking ok? How old is he? Are you sure he has not used the bathroom somwhere else? If he has only been home for a few hours, he might be to excited/scared to eat or drink or even use the potty in a strange place. I know that when we moved, Red, did not come out from...

New litter: Scoop-Lite ultralightweight litter (anyone tried it?)

Hmmm..I will definetly look into this. My baby has a bad time with UTI's and this would be an even better way to catch it before he gets to sick!

    Accidentally stepped on kittens leg...

I am glad that your baby is doing better! Stepping on our babies when they are chasing "phantoms" is definetly a concern of cat owners! Good luck.

    urinary infection?

Any time a vet who dismisses blood in urine with a male cat, you need to find a new vet. Male cats get UTI's very easily. In fact, my baby "Red" gets them often, so we had to change his food and make sure he has plenty of fresh water!

Kittens adjusting and Ginger throwing up...

Get her to a vet as soon as you can. Once you find out what is going on with her it may give you some insight as to whether to be worried about your other baby. Good Luck and keep us posted.

    Switching food problems

Have you checked with your vet? How long has this been going on? I would definetly take him to the vet to make sure that something more serious is not going on with your baby.

    george throwing up...

I am so gload to hear that George is home and doing great! I do not know of any products but I am sure that some one here does. Did you ask you vet if they knew of any products?

    Eeek Urgent!

I am so glad for you that he is doing better! I would still get him checked by the vet just in case it was something other that a reaction to the neosporin.

    nursing cat w/ inverted nipple?

Definetly get a second opinion. If you feel this vet always jumps to a quick decision maube you should look to changing vets. Sometimes problems with cats can not be diagnosed with a "quick decision"
