The emergency vet costs 3x the cost of a normal pet visit.  I love my daughter, and I know she loves her cat, but I'm a single working mother and really can't afford to spend the cost of a week's worth of daycare on the emergency visit. :-(

I told them that he hasn't really eaten since yesterday and that he is moving around very slowly.  Also that he has not drank anything and has only peed once.  I just checked his gums and they're still pink and moist.  His skin also snaps back fairly quickly so he's not dehydrated as of yet.
