The vet did a flush on the ear that had a rupture...He was able to cure the ruture with a medication...Now the other ear is getting black debris. I thought he was going to flush both ears while the cat was under but he didn't...This vet is supposed to be the best in our area but I think I'll try...

Not true...you should treat the indoor/outdoor cat...I streat a couple strays twice during the summer with ervolution and they don't have fleas.

I'm having the same problem with revolution...IMHO I think the cats are becoming allergic to the chemicals...I comb them with a flea comb and find no flea fecas.

I use revolution,,,,It helps with mites, flease and parasites... If you put ANYTHING in your cats ears tell the vets because the tests  won't work...Once you put something in the ears the infection won't show up in the tests...Won't the vets give to anything to help the poor little cat...

To test if you need more litter boxes cut down a cardboard box , put baking soda on the bottom layer then the litter and see what happens....If that works get a new box...or 2. I have 2 boxes for each cat. I'm fortunate to have a big basement...

put cat nip near the box. It tranqualizes them...It helped mine ...I did do 3 litter boxes....I'm suprised it's not a urinary tract infection...

One of my cats has had an ear infection for 2 years....One of my vets gave ear drops..malotic-genotic B-O...The other vet gave allergy pills...they both help but neither has cured the problem...I'm afraid the allergy pills dehydrate...Any sugestions..
