do you leave food down all day so your cat grazes or are they fed at certain times.

My maine coon is now 13mths old and still on kitten food (Royal Canine Maine coon Kitten) and this is down so that he may graze all day as he wishes. He also has half a pouch of kitten wet food in the morning and the other half in the afternoon.
When can I progress him on to adult food...
