Thankyou, I'm not sure that i have enough space in my house for them to be kept apart all the time. they do seem to be getting on more though, boo doesn't hiss as much. i think she's realised he's here to stay, as when she hisses i pick ray up.

You say you have a field out the back, have you checked there? The dog may be scaring them off as you look. Glad one came back, the mum must be so happy. :)
