My neighbour has asked for my help to ascertain the gender of some Newborn kittens. I think it's boy, boy,girl. A stray has had the kittens in her outhouse. We spotted the pregnant Mum hanging around and have both helped out with feeding her over the last week or so and keeping an eye on her...

Such cute kittens! I love their colours and markings. I wonder what colour their Dad is (or dads are)... Never seen such an interesting coloured/marked litter from a tuxedo mum before...

Hi there..I used the zoom groom brush on Maisy today for the first time. She has a clean coat normally. Tonight I notice a huge amount of dander on her back and I have combed it out. Her coat is shiny. She has been treated for fleas (and has no sign of them). Just wondering if the zoom groom...

JJMarie I kind of felt compelled to say something after reading some of the tragic events you have described. Good luck with your two little kittens.. Wishing them well.however your post highlights (to me) the importance of spaying.

Here's maisy..my little 4 month tux girl. She is so affectionate. She had a spot of conjunctivitis and a cold soon after we got her 2 weeks ago (bottom pic) but she is back to good health it seems after a vet check, lots of food and love and some lysine! (top pic)

Again thank you! I got some lysine and maisy has eaten it mixed with her food. Fingers crossed. I will give the lysine for a few days and see how she goes. I will try the bathroom steaming too. :-)

Thank you for your replies. Do I get lysine from the vet? Or is this something I can source from elsewhere? Do I need my vet to confirm that I can give her lysine?
