I need to find a new home for my cat who has rhinitis, IBD, and GERD and requires a lot of treatment daily. Does anyone know of any organizations or where a good place would be to start looking to find a home for him that would not only continue his treatments but give him a nice life too?
My cat has chronic rhinitis and IBD for two years now and I am simply drained and can no longer take care of him, give him his meds, 4 meals a day, drops, and nebulization along with all the things I need to do such as work and my own health issues.
I have looked for a home for him but no one...
Hi all, my beautiful kitty has been diagnosed with pancreatitis and inflammation in his stomach and intestines but thankfully not liver so no triaditis. I am seeing a holistic vet but he does not do raw oddly enough. He is on herbs and a novel canned rabbit diet but it has not helped. I want to...
I have been seeing a Holistic vet and there are a lot of herbs they can give which definitely help as well as natural versions or prednisone that do the same thing without the side effects. Also acupuncture and laser treatments work very well. Let me know if you have any questions

It could be allergy related which I believe has at least something to do with it but the specialists don't have any definite idea what is causing it just what is going on. They put him on Zeniquin, just to kill any secondary bacteria and prevent bacteria, and Piroxicam which after reading about...
So after all kinds of tests and xrays and rhinoscopies there is no answer as to what is going on with my kitty. They have just diagnosed him with rhinitis or chronic inflammation and mucus in the nose which makes it a little hard for him to breathe and just seems like he feels bad overall as he...
My cat has been sick for a few months battling one bacterial infection after another and I want to put him on transfer factor but am not sure which one to get as there are so many for both people and animals. Anyone have experience with any of the varieties and how did it go?
My cat recently had Pseudomonas as well and after the culture and sensitivity test it was found that Zeniquin would be best at 3/4 pill once daily. After 30 days of this, prayer, steaming up the bathroom, and colloidal silver drops into the nose only once a day there is no more Pseudomonas. I...
Please get a culture and sensitivity done as soon as possible, few vets suggest it but a lot of the time it finds the problem and the solution. My cat has the same thing you are describing and finally after almost 3 months of trying stuff it turned out to be a bacterial infection.
If you can handle the cost I would get him scoped and have it removed as it is better than the possibility of losing him if that is what you fear. Maybe call around a bit tomorrow and see if any regular vets offices have this equipment as they usually charge a quarter of what those awful...
I would not put him down, if I had all those problems myself I would want to keep fighting and why treat our pets any differently. I feel when he is ready to go he will go off somewhere by himself and stop fighting but to me it seems as though he is still willing to fight and enjoy what time he...
I was reading a holistic book in which she used a combination of medication and nasal flushes with a probiotic as well as colloidal silver to get rid of the tricky pseudomonas infection and was wondering if anyone could suggest a brand to use of both probiotic and colloidal silver for use in the...
My cat was diagnosed with Pseudomonas and is being put on Zenequin as this was all the bacteria appears not resistant to.
I have read about Zenequin stimulating the CNS and causing seizures but that it is usually at high doses.
It appears that my cat will be on 12.5mg once daily for one or two...
I was just wondering if every cat will breathe through its mouth if its nose is blocked or if it will just struggle and not get enough oxygen to its brain trying to breathe through its nose in vain. I am concerned my cat may have done this as he has symptoms of brain damage.
