I have 4 cats and the problems are with the 2 neutered males! The 2 girls are great and easy to get along with. The 2 "Guys" are forever trying to fight and do carry on.

Iluvcandy, you are correct in that they take a culture and depending on the bacteria, prescribe the best antibiotic for it. I don't understand this prolonged problem either.

Why have IMO in a cat web site anyway.? Let's stick to cats and avoid world situations. There's enough strife without adding more to a cat web site. People can always read/watch the news to get upset. Why not discontinue IMO. What do people think about this idea? IMO end it.

I agree with the above. The correct antibiotic should do the trick. Maybe consult another vet.

UTIs can be stress related.? That's got to be in cats only. The "I" in it stands for infection which is caused by bacteria and treated with antibiotics. Where can I get more info on this and is everyone certain of this? How can stress cause a bacterial infection?

I agree with reporting the person you suspect and get any neighbors who agree with you to go along with the report. Keep all animals inside also.

thanks for responding. I got the dry beef and barley. They also talk about food rotation to get a complete, balanced diet. Most people say that switching isn't good as it upsets stomachs and here are these people saying to rotate. Of course they are a business who wants you to buy their products..

I found this new food, new for me that is, and it sounds good. Their web site is www.naturesvariety.com They do freeze dried raw food and now have kibble and canned as well. The ingredience look excellent. Any experience with this food or any articles or rumors?
