Had the same problem, solution is to cover tube with NARVA SPIRAL WRAP 6MM X 10MTR which is normally used for electric cabling. I also sprayed it with a mist of lime juice. Cats don't like citrus. Thereis atrick to getting it on easily but you will figure it out. JB
