She has had little bit of food then going back to the kitten then coming out for fuss and meowing constantly. So she isnt settled. Is it normal?

My cat had her first kitten 2 hours ago but not anymore yet. She keeps getting out of her box and leaving the kitten behind and wanting me to give her fuss. Is it possible she could have anymore she keeps meowing and licking down there. Right now she is curled up with her eyes closed
