I'd like to add to my above post that I have also recommended the Cantharis to 2 friends for their cats. The results were the same. The feedback I get is, "That stuff is amazing!" "I won't ever be without it" In fact..... since 2004 I have only had to take 1 cat to the vet for urinary...
This is an obvious late response to the OP but here goes...
in 2004 I posted on another thread here about my success with Cantharis when my cats had difficulty urinating. The cat I first used it on lived to be almost 18 but passed 4 yrs ago. I now have 4 more neutered male cats, 2 of wch are...
Hi again!
I've been using Swanson since 2005 and have nothing but good to say about them
Also wanted to give you this link. It's a human study but it shows the good that CoQ10 can do!

I purchase the more easily absorbed form of CoQ10 which is called Ubiquinol, from swanson health products (online) Google the difference between CoQ10 and Ubiquinol. It costs more but more is absorbed, so more bang for your buck!
Since it is only for prevention- not an acute health...
Based on experience, must disagree. I had a 1 yr old cat that was eating much like the OP's cat.... very little and only with lots of encouragement. Vet visit showed nothing, like the OPs initial vet visit. Sent home on anti-nausea and appetite stimulant. Still wasn't eating more than bits...
For people who are worried about Chamomile Tea drops into the eye of a pet............
Think for a second. If you took 200 Tylenol capsules, would you expect it to be "toxic" to your system? Of course! But does that you prevent from taking 2 capsules for a headache?
Many substances...
I have to disagree, based on the very principles of transdermal absorption of many substances (medicinal or not)

Thanks for posting this. I just called my mom to make some of this tea as her cat has conjunctivitis.
There is nothing wrong with intelligent pet-owners researching and making INFORMED decisions on how to treat minor problems in their pets. If some don't want to educate themselves...

I started giving my 5 yr old cat ubiquinol (drops from softgels, not the product above) and his asthma improved...
Just wanted to post an update on Charlie. He has been on the L-methionine powder (in food once a day) ever since. No side effects. I check his pH every few months to make sure it's still on target. No more problems with crystals or blockage.
He DID have a UTI (no blockage- peeing fine just...
I wanted to update every one on a happy ending / success story. I was VERY frustrated trying to help Charlie get better. For more than 2 months post-blockage he would still only pee very small amounts, very frequently and lick himself immediately after pee'ing. Clearly he was still irritated...
To the orginal poster... How is your cat doing? What did you find that helped/didn't help. I had a 3.5 yr old male cat block this past Tues. He spent 2 days at vet. (came home Fri) They unblocked him by catheterizing him. It's now Sunday. He's tapering off his steriodal anti inflammatory...
