Protruding sphincter muscle when passing feces/getting thin

Ok guys, so they did blood work and checked his feces and all came back negative. They gave him a dewormer anyways though. They also sent him home with some nutritional powder to sprinkle on his food. They said the prolapse is most probably due to constipation so we have been adding more water...

Protruding sphincter muscle when passing feces/getting thin

Hi everyone, About 3 weeks ago, I got a new kitten that had been rescued along with his siblings from the streets. The girl that rescued them gave them an over the counter dewormer and had them weaned off formula and eating on their own at 4 weeks. I got him at 4.5 weeks and he's been eating...

    1 month old kitten-Weaning/Solids

Hi guys, I'm getting a kitten that is about 1 month old. He was abandoned by his mother and the girl that rescued him has been feeding him kitten formula for a few weeks. She just started to wean him off the formula and he's been eating Wellness Core kitten canned food for a few days now. How...

Never had a kitten before. Questions.

Hi Everyone, I never raised a kitten before. I did have a cat who recently passed away which I had for almost 8 years, but she was already an adult when she came into my life. Though I'm still mourning her loss, I feel I'm ready to bring in a furrbaby into my life. I know of someone who found...

My cat just had an attack of some sort. Help!

FYI, the reason she wasn't using her leg the vet said was because it had gotten fractured or even broken sometime this morning, possibly when she had her fainting spell/seizure. Says the tumor was most probably in the bone itself. She is finally at rest.

The vet called back and he's coming over in a little to put her down. At least she's in the comfort of her home.

My cat just had an attack of some sort. Help!

We just discovered that after the attack, one of her hind legs that she had surgery on and has several tumors in, she cannot move. She cries out if we touch it too. I think we may take her today to be put down...

My cat just had an attack of some sort. Help!

I have another thread on here about my cat who has had surgery a few weeks ago to remove some Cancerous tumors. She has several tumors growing now so we are just keeping her alive and happy until she passes or shows signs of being in lots of pain. We just woke up to the sound of her throwing...

Growth on bone and small ball growth/Cancer??? Pls Help!

Yeah, Her thumb's biopsy showed Cancer, and she has another toe that the vet thinks is most probably another tumor... that is the toe that is starting to smell. We have not consulted an Oncologist for several reasons, mostly due to money and because prognosis seems so poorly in cats anyways...

Growth on bone and small ball growth/Cancer??? Pls Help!

The vet doesn't really know. He did think there was a main mass somewhere and that's why the tumors were metastasizing all over her body, but the chest xray shows nothing in her lungs (just a little congestion, and he had gotten a second opinion from a radiologist because he initially thought...

Need answers ASAP please about abcesses

I imagine he vet should give you one of those surgery collars for him to wear as well as give him antibiotics that should help clear up the infection. Mine got an abscess once years ago (we don't know from what) and after having her infection drained, they put stitches on her and a surgery...

I wanted to update you all on this incase anyone else is going through something similar... My cat had surgery to remove the infected thumb, growth on her shoulder, and lump under the skin of her hind leg. All 3 were biopsied and turned out to be Cancer. Two of the growths were completely...

Growth on bone and small ball growth/Cancer??? Pls Help!

Well, I had originally taken her to that vet to get 3 things checked out: The growth on her shoulder, the lump under her skin on her hind leg, and a swollen thumb on her front leg. I forgot to tell the vet about the thumb but told the assistant when she went to take her into the back and she...

Growth on bone and small ball growth/Cancer??? Pls Help!

Well, I made an appt. with another vet for a 2nd opinion. My friend takes her cats to this one and it has good reviews online. They don't have an Oncologist on board, but this vet would be able to do a biopsy at a resonable price if my cat needs one... Now to wait for the consultation appt. to...

Growth on bone and small ball growth/Cancer??? Pls Help!

She has had an xray. The vet pretty much didn't know what it was and said to go to a specialist because it is growing from her scapula and her bones and joints all look good. Her chest did seem a bit congested and she has been recovering from a cough (though the vet said her lungs sounded find)...

Growth on bone and small ball growth/Cancer??? Pls Help!

Misty8723, The ball under the skin is hard and attached to just the skin, not to any muscles nor bone. The growth on her shoulder actually moves a bit if you push it gently, but it's still attached to the bone. Don't know if it's because it's grown or what. It doesn't seem to bother her at all...

Growth on bone and small ball growth/Cancer??? Pls Help!

Misty8723, The little ball isn't soft, it's hard and just attached to the skin itself, not to any muscle or bone. As for the growth on her shoulder, before it was hard like a bone, now there's a part that moves if you push it. It's still hard though. She doesn't seem to be bothered when I touch...

Growth on bone and small ball growth/Cancer??? Pls Help!

Hi everyone, My 10 year old cat has a bone growth on her shoulder on the scapula area. She also has a tiny little ball growing on the left side of her body on her hind leg. It's right under the skin and not connected to any muscles. I don't see any indications where it looks like a bite and she...
