Thanks, Ritz. I took his blanket that he's had since he came home, his favorite toy, his food, and his treats. I just dropped him off and it was so hard. The people at the kennel weren't very personable or encouraging. They kind of just whisked him away and had me do paperwork. It sounded just...
I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow and I don't have any friends or family that I can leave Nimbus with. I'm going to be gone for a little over a week and I'm so worried about him. I found a kennel that gets great reviews, but I've never left him somewhere longer than a day when he got neutered...
Just to update everyone, Nimbus had his surgery today. It was really hard leaving him, I cried all the way home :( I know they say neutering isn't a big deal but just leaving him behind like that was so hard! But I'm happy to say he did great and was so happy to see me when I picked him up! :)...
Now that Nimbus has gotten over his respiratory infection, he looks so much better than he did when I brought him home from the shelter! Little does he know, that means he will be getting neutered soon though...poor guy :(

I adopted my cat almost a week ago and his claws were horrendously long and sharp. After reading some horror stories about having to restrain the cat and being bitten or scratched while trimming their nails, I was a little nervous to try it myself. I prepared myself mentally, and put Nimbus on...
He is doing amazingly well! I took him for his first vet visit and he had a little bit of a respiratory infection so they sent him home with some antibiotics. Since he's been on those he's been improving every day and becoming more and more spunky :) He's using the litter box regularly, eating...
I am very happy with my decision to adopt an adult cat. I had visited him in the shelter a few times and was told that he had been there for quite some time. He is an absolute sweetheart and obviously very happy to have a home :) The scratching posts I have are part of a climbing tree I bought...
I adopted my adult cat 4 days ago. At first he didn't scratch at the furniture, but he's been a little sick and has been on antibiotics. Now that he is feeling better, he's starting to get a little more spunky and has been clawing at the couch. Declawing isn't an option for me, I hate even the...
