Hepatic lipidosis--anyone have experience with tube feeding?

I'm so, so sorry to hear that Stubby didn't make it. My Kiki dies of HL 2 years ago. She died so suddenly after the tube surgery they offered to do an autopsy and found that she had a tumor on her lung, which was the first domino in a long chain of events. Anyway, the vets were willing to look...

1 year later...resident cat (female age 10) now attacking kitten (female age 1)

Thanks so much. She's always been a little crabby, but I agree that I should schedule an appt. with the vet. Her sister hid her cancer so well that we didn't catch it until it was way too late. She seemed perfectly healthy one day, then the next I noticed her ears looked yellow and got...

Bobo the kitten maniac vs. Lulu the senior pacifist

Hi cat people. I've been reading through the boards - and am beginning to feel reassured from other stories that me and my cat family are actually doing better than I give us credit for. But - I'm going to reach out to you experts anyway. Because I'm a crazy overprotective cat lady!  In early...

Hepatic lipidosis--anyone have experience with tube feeding?

Kiki passed this morning. The vet did an immediate autopsy and found that her liver was too far gone even though I caught it early. I'm still so happy for those of you who fought this battle and won.

Hepatic lipidosis--anyone have experience with tube feeding?

These recovery stories are SO encouraging. My Kiki had a tube put in on Tuesday and were on day 3 at home. She also has a bladder infection. One minute she seems fine, the next she's so listless. I keep checking to make sure she's breathing because I'm so scared for her. Did you guys experience...
