Thank you! Yes when I looked at it real good it looked like just really dry rough skin. But I’ll definitely have the vet take a look just to be safe. I just thought I’d see if anyone here had anything similar happen before.
Hi all,
I was just laying with my kitty and noticing what to me seems like a callus on her paw pad. I have a couple pics and I’m wondering if anyone has seen this before? I will get her checked out by the vet but I’ve never noticed this until today. Thanks!
Thanks Katluver4life!
Like I said I'm new to cats as pets so it can be tough determining what's going on!
I think they will be fine. Cayenne is a real sweetie and Stella is too.
Oh wow. Well I mean I guess I really can't complain then! It's been a little over a week and the worst thing I've seen is cayenne jumping up to try and bite Stella's butt then she hisses and growls and swats.
When he isn't trying to get all over her there are really no problems. I've even...
Thank you for your reply. I do keep the claws trimmed. And Stella has already swatted the pepper out of him! I tell my husband it's like that game they used to have where you bop the gophers on the head and they go down!
She's been smacking his head and nose but he still goes back for more. I...

Vetted and got a clean bill of health. I already had a calico female Stella she's going to be 2 in July. Cayenne has his own room litter box food...
Orientalslave: Thanks for the info. Yeah I'm not sure how common it is where I live. I'm in south Louisiana. And not sure about his background. Definitely doesn't seem like a kitty who fought or had a rough life. You'd swear he'd been around people all his life. So sweet. Always coming up...
Thanks so much for responding. Yes I sure did. I even brought the vet a little surprise so he could do a fecal float. The little guy was checked from head to toe. Dewormed, no ear mites. No problems at all according to vet. Well just fleas but we treated that with revolution. He has to go back...
Hi all,
I am a newbie to this site, well not too new as I've read the forums on here without actually signing up. I have an almost 2 year old DSH kitty names Stella. She's healthy up to date on shots etc. she's my first and only kitty. I have recently acquired an 8 month old kitty that showed...
