    Round cut

It isn't possible that she was in a fight with a cat as whenever she goes out it's usually in the backyard or right behind it with someone keeping an eye out for her. She's usually not out for more than 30 minutes/an hour. (We would much rather prefer her be an indoor cat, but as she'd be in...

    this is ridiculous

I do understand that - my bigger point was that it's unfortunate how so many people do let the shelters get overfilled by not being responsible and either throwing cats out and/or not getting them fixed. I do understand that shelters are there to help everyone, the situation occurs because of...

    Round cut

Hmm no I don't think that that would be it, as it's more like someone ripped out some fur. It isn't very deep at all. Upon inspecting her just five minutes ago, we found a hard scab (possibly not and something else?) type of thing around her shoulders that was not there yesterday and she has...

    this is ridiculous

I am so sorry to hear about the situation with the shelters over there. They always seem to be full when they're most needed. You are so kind for taking in as many as you already have, as has been mentioned above, maybe try to find friends/neighbors who would take one and would do all of the...

    And we have kittens!!

Wow congratulations! I'm glad everything went along fine without complications. They're sure very adorable looking! Do you know if you'll be keeping any? Any names yet?

    Round cut

Anastasia does go outside periodically (we would much rather have her be an indor kitty, but she was always let out, it wasn't our decision; plus we live in a rural park area) and yesterday she came home with a sort of round cut - missing fur and some blood on her stomach area. It isn't that...

    Our EXOTIC furbabies

I've followed this thread waaay back in 04 when I first became a member. Now I've come back and have been reading this and it's so shocking! You are not keeping exotics for selfish reasons or in wrong conditions. You are following everything very well and if anyone would do their research they...

    Help! Help! I need Help!

Congrats! I love kids as well, so I can imagine that you must be quite happy. If you're ever looking for a job that pays, the paper route sounds like a good idea (though around here they don't have kids deliever anymore, trucks do it). Getting up early is just something that goes with a job and...

    Bailey Boo & Petally Poo

Oh wow, they're both so adorable! The first picture is simply priceless!!!

    Kids.. ugh!

That's so awful! I simply don't understand why people like that even bother getting pets; a lot of the time they seem annoyed by them! A lot of kids around that age just don't understand that puppies and kittens aren't just cute things you get to play with and then neglect; that they need...

    Help! Help! I need Help!

I do believe that it is tough to find a job at 13 (or a decent one). I'm 16 and remember when I was dying to find something to do to make some money and get involved. I suggest babysitting (as already mentioned, it's best through word, if you babysit for someone regularely mention that you'd...

    Kitty loves my armpits!

I've heard that it's a way of cuddling in their eyes. When Anastasia gets scared (ie at the vets) she tries to hide under my armpit; she really starts digging her head into me. Maybe it's a sort of comfort/cuddle/hiding spot?

    Silent Meows

I think that since cats have a good sense of hearing, we simply don't hear the meow. Anastasia will do it sometimes as well, especially as a greeting when I come into a room and she wakes up.

    picture of Anastasia

Well now that I'm back, I thought I'd get back to this thread (seems like a waste to me starting a whole lot of new threads) to post picturese once again. So here are some updated ones: Roaming the fence. And usually as far as she gets as I don't feel peaceful with her demanding to go outside...

    A little Birbaby love!

Oh wow that is adorable! And funny at the same time, I loved the whole "Paw, paw, let me bite off your paw". They're just both so cute.

You have got to be kidding me?!

Oh wow, that's so shocking! When I first read the story on page one, I was so furious; though I've calmed down a bit by page four. I definetely agree with everyone that you need to do everything you can against this vet and alert everyone about him. I would hate it if he was running the same...

    7lb 4 month old kitten

Wow, you and your wife are angels! I am so glad that you rescued the little guys! And achilles sounds like he's been very healthy and eating plenty (from the picture he looks fit); I'm so glad to hear that. Keep us posted on how they're doing and we'd love to see more pictures as they grow.

    My cats

Aww they are both very cute! Looks like Misty is very photogenic, my cat usually turns away from the camera.
